Biography
Helene grew up in Germany and Brazil. She went to the UK for higher education, to universities in Edinburgh, London, and Oxford. She studied creative writing and holds a degree specializing in 20th-century history. She spent most of her adult life in New York and Berlin. Her passion, besides writing, is adventure travel to remote foreign lands.
